Photo‐Curable 3D Printing of Circularly Polarized Afterglow Metal–Organic Framework Monoliths
Advances in MaterialsDeveloping coordination complexes (such as metal–organic frameworks, MOFs) with circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) is currently attracting tremendous attention and remains a significant challenge in achieving MOF with circularly polarized afterglow.

Afterglow of Dual‐Confined Carbon Dots Ranging from Blue to Near‐Infrared
Advanced Functional MaterialsComprehensive research into afterglow emission in the near‐infrared (NIR) region of carbon dots (CDs) is currently lacking. In this study, highly efficient multicolor CDs are synthesized with fluorescence from blue to NIR using Rhodamine 6G. Boron oxide (

Brief stimulation of the upper lip with the tip of a nylon thread frequently produces an "afterglow" sensation that may persist as long as several minutes after cessation of stimulation. The duration of afterglow is increased by strong suggestion, and decreased by vibration of the skin prior to stimulation.

This chapter focuses on the search for afterglows of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs). In 1996, Peter Mészáros (Pennsylvania State University) and Martin J. Rees (Cambridge University) began developing a detailed theory of afterglows, positing that long-lived emission should be observed at all wavelengths—a panchromatic phenomenon—as a natural consequence of ...
