Mechanoluminescent Aluminum Nitride Crystal for Super-Sensitive Optical Manometry, Thermometry and Force Sensing. [PDF]
This study reports the first discovery of intrinsic mechanoluminescence in undoped AlN crystals, accompanied by pronounced photoluminescence and persistent luminescence. It further demonstrates a defect‐emission–driven multifunctional optical sensing platform for force, pressure, and temperature detection, achieving exceptional sensitivities.
