Parameter Inference of a State-of-the-Art Physical Afterglow Model for GRB 190114C
A state-of-the-art semi-analytic gamma-ray burst (GRB) afterglow model with synchrotron self-Compton (SSC) emission has been applied for the first time for parameter inference using real GRB data. We analyzed the famous GRB 190114C as a case study.

In this contribution, the coordination‐locked phosphorescence amplification (CLPA) strategy is developed to successfully construct the first non‐rare‐earth narrowband RTP MOF crystal, Sr–tbc. In addition, Sr–tbc shows potential applications in high‐resolution afterglow display and multilevel information recognition.

Structure‐Function Integration in 2D Hybrid Perovskite for Fast Neutron and Gamma Ray Discrimination
Using an in situ seed‐assisted cooling method, large (28 × 7 × 3 mm3) (GABA)2PbBr4 single crystals are grown, featuring hydrogen‐rich organic layers and a dense PbBr4 framework. This architecture enables efficient γ‐ray absorption, fast‐neutron sensitivity, and clear n/γ pulse‐shape discrimination (FOM up to 1.74), highlighting its potential as a ...

Failed Optical Afterglows [PDF]
While all but one Gamma-Ray Bursts observed in the X-ray band showed an X-ray afterglow, about 60 per cent of them have not been detected in the optical band. We show that this is not due to adverse observing conditions. We then investigate the hypothesis that the failure of detecting the optical afterglow is due to absorption at the source location ...

This bio‐based chiral luminescent system exhibit photo‐activated CPRTP by anchoring arylboronic acids to hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) matrix. Notably, by controlling the drying kinetics, dynamic switchable CPRTP with opposite handedness can be obtained due to a balance of photonic bandgap (PBG) effect and chirality transfer effect induced by the HPC ...

Using chiral emitters with circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) characteristics integrated into organic long‐persistent luminescence (OLPL) system demonstrates circularly polarized long‐persistent luminescence (CP‐LPL). Importantly, the Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET)‐based design reveals circularly polarized photostimulated luminescence ...
