Zooming Into Radio Events by Bus Snooping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this position paper, we advocate the use of bus snooping to trace radio events. Highly precise and unintrusive, the technique leads to potentially more efficient code and enables more insightful protocol analysis than conventional code ...

Covalent Reprogramming of Kinase Binders to Modulate Protein Abundance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electrophilic remodeling of a broad‐spectrum kinase binder reveals how subtle chemical changes reprogram protein fate. An acrylamide analog of a multi‐kinase binder selectively stabilizes Aurora kinase A (AURKA) by suppressing its ubiquitination, while a short‐linker variant converts this stabilizer into a degrader.

Spot Landing: Determining the Light and Solar Properties of Fritted and Coated Glass

open access: yesChallenging Glass Conference Proceedings, 2018
The use of ceramic fritted architectural glazing is becoming increasingly popular. “Fritted glass”, which is also known as “enamelled glass”, is defined as glass with a surface covering made of glass frit[1] that is applied by a printing method and fused

Commutated automatic gain control system [PDF]

open access: yes
A commutated automatic gain control system (AGC) was designed and constructed for the prototype Loran C receiver. The AGC is designed to improve the signal-to-signal ratio of the received Loran signals.

Application of Load Following Control in Multi Area Hydrothermal Gas System under Reconstituted Scenario [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Variations in power system load causes deviations in system frequency and can be reduced by Automatic generation control (AGC). This paper presents the method in implementing the concept of load following adapted in an AGC in multi area hydro, thermal ...

WTAP‐Mediated m6A Modification Targets the LRP1‐Lipid Metabolism Axis to Regulate Joint Cartilage Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
WTAP drives cartilage regeneration by activating an LRP1‐dependent lipid metabolic program in macrophages, enhancing IL‐10 and TGF‐β secretion to promote chondrogenic differentiation. Leveraging this mechanism, virtual screening identifies LRP1‐targeting compounds that effectively stimulate cartilage repair, highlighting a druggable epigenetic ...

Aboveground tree carbon stocks in West African semi-arid ecosystems: Dominance patterns, size class allocation and structural drivers

open access: yesGlobal Ecology and Conservation, 2020
The importance of terrestrial ecosystems for carbon sequestration and climate regulation is acknowledged globally. However, the underlying structural drivers are still not well understood, particularly across distinct tropical forest ecosystems where ...

Benefits and Challenges of Model-based Software Engineering: Lessons Learned based on Qualitative and Quantitative Findings [PDF]

open access: yes
Even though Model-based Software Engineering (MBSwE) techniques and Autogenerated Code (AGC) have been increasingly used to produce complex software systems, there is only anecdotal knowledge about the state-of-thepractice.
