Identification of Potential Vaccine Strains of Escherichia coli Isolates From Diarrhoeic Calves
This study aimed to identify vaccine candidate Escherichia coli strains isolated from diarrheic calves. Faecal samples collected from 500 calves were analysed, and E. coli strains were isolated and characterized phenotypically and genotypically. Antibiotic resistance profiles, virulence‐associated genes and MLVA genotyping were used to select 20 ...

This study provides the first global systematic synthesis of Cryptosporidium spp. infection in snakes. A pooled prevalence of 12.6% was identified, with higher occurrence in captive‐associated populations than in wild snakes. Eight Cryptosporidium species, including multiple zoonotic taxa, were reported, underscoring the potential role of snakes within

Bovine Alphaherpesvirus 1 (BoHV‐1) and Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) are major drivers of respiratory disease in cattle. (A) To target both pathogens, two chimeric antigens—membrane‐linked and secreted—combining BoHV‐1 glycoprotein D and BRSV fusion glycoprotein were designed and expressed using recombinant BoHV‐4‐based vectors.
