Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum

Archives of Neurology, 1980
A father and son with agenesis of the corpus callosum are described. An 11-year-old boy underwent clinical examination because of poor school performance. On physical and mental examinations he was normal, except for an enlarged head. Computerized tomographic (CT) scan showed agenesis of the corpus callosum.

Agenesis of corpus callosum

Seminars in Pediatric Neurology, 1996
This 20-month-old girl was found to have an abdominal mass. She was known to have an 8p + karyotype with multiple congenital anomalies including the Pierre Robin sequence. Computed tomography disclosed agenesis of the corpus callosum. The child died following resection of a nephroblastoma. The neuropathological findings are illustrated and discussed.

Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum With Hypothermia

Archives of Neurology, 1975
A patient with episodic hypothermia and agenesis of the corpus callosum had no direct evidence of hypothalamic-pituitary dysfunction. However, it is speculated on the basis of a recent clinicopathologic case study that selective hypothalamic involvement is the cause of the hypothermia. Electroencephalograms and treatment with antiseizure medication did

Feline Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum

Epilepsia, 1987
Summary: The unusual pattern of seizure development and developed seizure in a cat kindled at the ventral hippocampus is discussed in the light of agenesis of the corpus callosum (CC). In this animal, not only the CC but also the hippocampal commissure was completely absent and the dorsal portion of the septal area was separated in the midline.

AGENESIS OF THE CORPUS CALLOSUM

Archives of Neurology & Psychiatry, 1949

Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum; Lipoma of the Corpus Callosum

Radiology, 1951
The developmental anomalies of the corpus callosum have only recently been described as distinct radiological entities, readily diagnosable by appropriate roentgen studies. Since the first report of the roentgenographic recognition of agenesis of the corpus callosum by Davidoff and Dyke (4) in 1934, ten reports dealing with a total of 20 instances of ...

Children with Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum

Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology, 1968
SUMMARYA series of 50 children with agenesis of the corpus callosum is described. The incidence of this rare abnormality and the problem of diagnosing the more normal cases in life are discussed. Long term follow‐up is planned as there remain many unanswered problems in the understanding of the functions of the corpus callosum.RÉSUMÉUne série de 50 ...
