AAMAS is a conference about agents and multiples of agents, so I probably ought to say something about agents. Of course, my position on agents is that I am all for them. Today I'd like to make a case for actually putting agents in agent-based models.

2014 IEEE Canada International Humanitarian Technology Conference - (IHTC), 2014This work explores the utility of an agent based model (ABM) for studying malaria prevalence and transmission. Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by Plasmodium parasites that are transmitted to humans through the bites of infected female mosquitoes of the genus Anopheles.
