The Moral Turing Test within the Frameworks for Normalizing Attitudes towards AI in Socially Significant Future Technologies

open access: yesКонцепт: философия, религия, культура
The proliferation of new technologies raises the problem of applying and adapting the Turing Test to evaluate the moral decisions made by artificial intelligence (AI) systems in the context of bioethics.

Biomimetic Vascular Scaffold with Seamless Electrospun Aligned Nanofiber Conduit and 3D‐Printed Coil Reinforcement

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a new fabrication method that overcomes the current limitation of tubular gap electrospinning. We successfully fabricated a seamless hollow tube with fibers aligned along the longitudinal axis in diameters as small as 300 µm, and then reinforced it using 4‐axis 3D printing.

Gardiquimod Nanoemulsion Targets Cutaneous Leishmaniasis Lesions Reducing Systemic Toxicity and Parasite Burden

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoemulsion delivery of a TLR7 agonist enhances safety and promotes colocalization with Leishmania‐infected macrophages in skin lesions, enabling a ∼2‐log reduction in parasite burden. However, tissue‐level constraints and TLR‐driven regulatory feedback generate a mixed immune response that limits complete parasite clearance.

Engineered Microvascular Model of the Blood–Brain–Tumor Barrier Reveals Endothelial Remodeling in Diffuse Midline Glioma

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We developed a patient‐derived, functional microfluidic model of the diffuse midline glioma (DMG) blood–brain–tumor barrier (BBTB) comprised of endothelial cells, astrocytes, pericytes, and tumor cells. The system forms perfusable microvasculature, reveals the BBTB retains vascular integrity, identifies DMG‐specific transcriptomic changes distinct from

Tomographic Printing in a Chip: A Versatile Platform for Biomimetic 3D Organ‐on‐Chip

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A novel light‐based bioprinting approach, TVAM‐in‐a‐chip, enables rapid, contactless fabrication of biomimetic 3D organ‐on‐chip devices directly within preassembled microfluidic platforms. This strategy supports diverse materials, including cell‐laden resins, and eliminates post‐assembly steps.

Nanomaterial Strategies for Pulmonary Delivery of Immunotherapeutics in Lung Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Inhalable immunotherapeutic nanomedicines enable organ‐selective immune modulation by overcoming pulmonary delivery barriers and concentrating therapy within lung tumors. This Review defines how nanomaterial properties govern airway deposition, retention, cellular partitioning, and immune activation across vaccines, checkpoint blockade, STING agonists,

From MASTER-Web to AGATHE: the evolution of an architecture for manipulating information over the Web using ontologies - DOI: 10.3395/reciis.v2i1.137en

open access: yesRECIIS, 2008
This article presents two architectures for information gathering systems on restricted Web domains, for example the academic or the biologic domain. This text processing is based on the use of domain-related ontologies employing them as a well-defined ...
