HTML5 Agents: Mobile Agents for the Web
2014We argue that the modern Web infrastructure with HTML5 as such can be an agent platform and mobile agents could be developed in similar way as Web applications. For us the agents can also be end-user applications that the user can send to a server so that the state is preserved and the execution can continue.

Modeling Agents and Agent Systems
2011In present agent definitions, we often find different names and definitions for similar concepts. Many works on multiagent systems use abstract and informal descriptions to introduce the topic. Even books on multiagent systems often lack a formal definition or use a selfcontained formalism.

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2010
Summary: This paper discusses the role of emotions in artificial agent design and implementation. The syntax and semantics of a simplified version of a logic-based agent-oriented programming language is presented. This programming language facilitates the implementation of artificial agents with emotions.

Debugging Agents in Agent Factory
2007The ability to effectively debug agent-oriented applications is vital if agent technologies are to become adopted as a viable alternative for complex systems development. Recent advances in the area have focussed on the provision of support for debugging agent interaction where tools have been provided that allow developers to analyse and debug the ...

NPCAMSD-agent: a prospective agent model
Telecommunication Systems, 2021Currently, the rigid restrictions on agents with only constrained motivations (corresponding constrained cooperations) cause the high violation rate, low profits and even harm to their reputations without incent motivations in agent mental models, and as a result extremely limit the agent cooperations.

Interoperability for mobile agents by incarnation agents
Proceedings of the second international joint conference on Autonomous agents and multiagent systems, 2003Many different kinds of mobile agent platforms have been developed. However, migration to a different type of mobile agent platform is actually impossible. As a solution to this problem, we propose an interoperability concept using incarnation agents. This concept realizes logical mobility between different kinds of agent platforms.

Agentic Agent, Better Agent: Evidence from Agentic AI in Telemarketing
Large language models are increasingly being deployed as agentic AI systems that autonomously manage customer interactions, yet their effectiveness in persuasion-intensive telemarketing settings remains largely unknown. We examine whether agentic AI can become a better agent in outbound financial telemarketing through a collaboration with a leading ...Yu Kan +4 more

Architectures for agents that track other agents in multi-agent worlds
1996In multi-agent environments, an intelligent agent often needs to interact with other individuals or groups of agents to achieve its goals. Agent tracking is one key capability required for intelligent interaction. It involves monitoring the observable actions of other agents and inferring their unobserved actions, plans, goals and behaviors.
