ABSTRACT We study a disclosure decision for a firm's manager with many sources of private information. The presence of multiple numerical signals provides the manager with an opportunity to hide information via aggregation, presenting net amounts in order to show information in its best light.

Clustering in microemulsions: aggregation of aggregates
2007A model is presented that describes the clustering of microemulsion droplets from a thermodynamic point of view. It is based on two assumptions: one assumption is that the microemulsion droplets aggregate linearly. The other assumption is that the chemical potential per droplet is equal for all sizes of aggregates.

Aggregated Problem and Bounds for Aggregation
2003Aggregation-disaggregation techniques provide a number of methods for handling large optimization problems by: a) combining data, b) using auxiliary (aggregated) problems which are reduced in size and/or complexity relative to the original problem, and c) analyzing the error caused by the replacement of the original problem by a simpler one.

Aggregation phenomena and fractal aggregates
Contemporary Physics, 1987Abstract Recent work to understand aggregation phenomena and the structure of fractal aggregates is reviewed. After describing a typical aggregation experiment, the concept of the fractal is introduced and theoretical models capable of building fractal clusters are reviewed with particular emphasis on diffusion-limited aggregation.

Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply
1993In Chapters 19 and 20 it was assumed that the price level was fixed so that any change in national income implied a change in only real national income. It was also assumed that real national income responded passively to changes in aggregate demand. These are major assumptions and a more modern view of the macro economy is that changes in aggregate ...

Aggregation of Information and Aggregation Operators
2013Huge amount of information one meets nowadays in a lot of areas of human activity makes information aggregation an extremely important and challenging issue. This chapter presents aggregation operators, a formal tool for aggregation of numerical information. Main types and properties of those operators will be discussed.
