Agile requirements engineering practices: a survey in Brazilian software development companies [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
Requirements Engineering (RE) is one of the prime areas in software development. Since agile software development englobes several emerging techniques and advocates for continuous improvement, it urges the question of which agile RE practices are currently most used, their characteristics, and the challenges in their employment. The aim of this work is

Morphy: A Compliant and Morphologically Aware Flying Robot

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study presents Morphy, a 25.2 cm‐wide, 260 g aerial robot with flexible, sensorized joints that enable it to withstand high‐speed collisions and squeeze through narrow spaces. Powered by an adaptive control scheme exploiting real‐time morphology feedback, Morphy demonstrates resilience in trajectory tracking, collision, and impact recovery and ...

Process Patterns for Agile Methodologies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The need for constructing software development methods that have been tailored to fit specific situations and requirements has given rise to the generation of general method fragments, or process patterns. Process patterns can be seen in some third-generation integrated methodologies (such as OPEN) and in Method Engineering approaches where they are ...

Bioinspired Design, Fabrication, and Wing Morphing of 3D‐Printed Magnetic Butterflies

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Inspired by the remarkable flight of monarch butterflies, lightweight, 3D‐printed magnetic butterflies are fabricated that mimic natural wing morphing without embedded electronics. By varying size, vein patterns, and laser energy in powder bed fusion printing, how these factors enhance deformation efficiency is shown.
