AbstractWe introduce agreement reducibility and highlight its major features. Given subsets A and B of , we write if there is a total computable function satisfying for all , .We shall discuss the central role plays in this reducibility and its connection to strong‐hyper‐hyper‐immunity.

Agreement Features, Agreement and Antiagreement
Natural Language & Linguistic Theory, 2005There are empirical reasons to think that the role traditionally assigned to specialized categorial features such as [V] and [N] is performed by independently needed features, some of which are agreement features. In appropriate contexts, the verbal feature reduces to [PERSON] and the nominal feature to [CLASS].

On key agreement and conference key agreement
1997An attack is demonstrated on a previously proposed class of key agreement protocols. Analysis of the attack reveals that a small change in the construction of the protocols is sufficient to prevent the attack. The insight gained allows a generalisation of the class to a new design for conference key agreement protocols.

Agreement is defined as the systematic covariance of one element with another. The most uncontroversial agreement configuration is that between a controller—an element intrinsically specified for a value of an agreement feature—and the target of agreement—the element reflecting a displaced feature value of the controller.

Conjunction agreement as semantic agreement
Abstract We discuss number, and to a lesser extent person, feature value cooccurrence restrictions between a head (Tense here) and a conjoined DP subject. We conclude that these restrictions instantiate semantic agreement, which arises in cases in which the feature values on T do not match the ...Isabelle Charnavel, Dominique Sportiche

Over the years, the Byzantine Generals Problem has become notorious for the complexity of its solutions. This is particularly true for protocols with the early-stopping property. Moreover, minor changes in the fault model resulted in drastically different protocols. In this paper, we expose a fundamental technique that underlies most of these protocols.

International disputes over subsidies are increasingly disrupting the world trading system. The creation of the WTO was nearly prevented by disputes in the Uruguay Round of GATT negotiations over the issue of negotiating disciplines on agricultural subsidies, an issue which continues to plague the ongoing Doha Round of WTO negotiations.
