Harmonizing Rigidity and Flexibility: Embedding COF Quantum Dots Into Extracellular Matrix Gel as Carbon Monoxide Depot for Acoustically Triggered Time‐Programmable Anti‐Infective Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rigid‑flexible integrated CO depot is engineered by embedding rigid COFQDs into a flexible ECM gel network. The rigid framework enables high‑capacity CO storage and sonodynamic bacterial killing, while the flexible ECM gel controls sustained CO release, collectively eradicating multidrug‑resistant infection and promoting scarless healing.

Long-term combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers increases crop yield sustainability by improving soil fertility in maize–wheat cropping systems

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Agriculture
Organic material combined with inorganic fertilizer has been shown to greatly improve crop yield and maintain soil fertility globally. However, it remains unclear if crop yield and soil fertility can be sustained in the long term under the combined ...

Regulating Droplet Dynamics via Wormlike Micelle Networks: From Splash Suppression to Precise Confined Spreading

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As displayed in Graphical Abstract image.tif, a molecular‐design strategy precisely tailors high‐speed droplet dynamics through programmed surfactant co‐assembly. The structural transition into an entangled wormlike micelle network completely suppresses stochastic splashing on fibrous substrates.

Robotics in Precision Agriculture: Task-, Platform-, and Evaluation-Oriented Review

open access: yesRobotics
Robotics is increasingly positioned as an enabling technology for precision agriculture, where management actions must be spatially and temporally targeted under constraints on labour, input use, safety, and environmental impact.

Gut Microbial Release of Ferulic Acid From Germinated Quinoa Alleviates Obesity‐Associated Cognitive Impairment by Activating Hippocampal Mitophagy Associated with PINK1/Parkin Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Liberation of ferulic acid by gut microbial feruloyl esterase mediates cognitive enhancement of germinated quinoa (GQF) on obese mice. Ferulic acid enriched in GQF is released by gut microbes Roseburia hominis and R. intestinalis and subsequently mediates the neuroprotective effects of GQF on obesity‐induced cognitive decline by activating hippocampal ...

Pyrazole‐Derived Antibacterial Compounds Effectively Treat Methicillin‐Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus Infections by Inhibiting Aspartate Transcarbamoylase

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study unveils a novel antibacterial mechanism against MRSA, in which the compound Py‐27 selectively targets and inhibits aspartate transcarbamoylase (ATCase), a key enzyme in pyrimidine synthesis. This inhibition disrupts DNA replication, induces oxidative damage, leading to potent bactericidal activity.
