Mobile Innovations in Agricultural Information Dissemination: A Senegal Case Study
Mobile technology has rapidly advanced in recent years, offering new opportunities for information dissemination, particularly in rural settings where traditional methods are often inefficient or unreliable. The research employs a mixed-methods approach involving surveys, interviews with stakeholders, and an analysis of usage data from existing mobile ...

TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...

The study examined the preferences and perceptions of agricultural extension personnel on the use of music as a tool for agricultural information dissemination. Forty-four out of 50extension agents in Ondo state were randomly selected for the study. Chi-square and the Pearson Product Moment Correlation were used to analyse data. The study revealed that

Agricultural productivity in Senegal is influenced by information dissemination regarding best farming practices, weather forecasts, and market conditions. Mobile app development was guided by user-centred design principles. A mixed-method evaluation included surveys (N=200) and focus group discussions with stakeholders.

An integrated computational screening strategy identified ursolic acid (UA) and 18β‐glycyrrhetinic acid (18βGA) as a self‐assembling food‐derived molecular pair. The resulting carrier‐free nanoparticles (UA‐18βGA) showed synergistic antiparasitic activity, reduced combined toxicity, and host‐protective anti‐inflammatory effects in zebrafish and murine ...

Mobile-Mediated Agricultural Information Dissemination in Senegal: A Technological Approach
Mobile technology has become an integral part of daily life in Senegal, with a significant proportion of the population accessing services via mobile applications. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from surveys (N=200) with qualitative insights gathered through interviews (n=15).

This study identifies a FOSL2‐driven positive feedback loop that amplifies FSH/FSHR signaling. During FSH‐dependent follicle maturation, FSH induces Fosl2 expression via the cAMP‐PKA‐CREB cascade. FOSL2 in turn binds the promoters of Fshr and estrogen‐biosynthesis genes to enhance their transcription, thereby increasing Fshr mRNA level and amplifying ...

Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.
