Administrative valuation of Soviet agricultural land : results using Lithuanian production data [PDF]

open access: yes
New land tenure arrangements in the USSR require that agricultural producers pay for land use. The current distorted pricing system and the absence of functioning land markets complicate land valuation, and slow the adoption of new property relations. In

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

Farmers' health status, agricultural efficiency, and poverty in rural Ethiopia: A stochastic production frontier approach [PDF]

open access: yes
"The A stochastic frontier production function is used to estimate agricultural efficiency index. Then, controlling for household characteristics and other exogenous variables, the efficiency index is regressed on the probability of being sick ...

Polar Lattice‐Distorted Motifs Enable Synergy of Local Polarization/Dipole Fields for Concurrent Glyphosate Wastewater Remediation and CO Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photocatalytic treatment of glyphosate herbicide in agricultural wastewater is achieved through the cooperative effect of the local polarization field and dipole field mediated by lattice‐distorted carbon nitride. Glyphosate is completely degraded via selective C─P bond cleavage with a CO evolution rate of 1166 µmol g−1 h−1.
