Planting and replanting: Continuity and change over four decades of forest restoration in Himachal Pradesh, India

India has a long history of planting trees to restore ecosystem services providing an opportunity to evaluate long‐term ecosystem restoration processes. We show that these programs have shifted over time in response to public demands as well as through changes in the government's vision for forests.

Developing epidemiological preparedness for a plant disease invasion: Modelling citrus huánglóngbìng in the European Union

Huánglóngbìng (HLB) is a bacterial disease of citrus that has significantly impacted Brazil and the United States, although citrus production in the Mediterranean Basin remains unaffected. By developing a mathematical model of spread in Spain, we tested surveillance and control strategies before any future HLB entry in the EU.

Landraces and traditional pea varieties hold great potential for enhancing agrobiodiversity and promoting pulse consumption, offering a rich historical and cultural resource for the UK food system. Unfortunately, many traditional pea varieties are lost, and those saved are often kept in seed banks or used only by small‐scale growers.
