The pharmacology of gepants in migraine: A scoping review on mechanisms, clinical applications, and combination strategies

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, Volume 66, Issue 7, Page 1628-1643, July/August 2026.
Abstract Background Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP) is a key mediator in migraine pathophysiology, and the development of gepants, novel CGRP receptor antagonists, has expanded therapeutic options for both acute and preventive treatment. This scoping review aims to synthesize current evidence on the pharmacology, clinical applications, safety ...

Construction of BGG sequences for AHS structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
summary:This paper gives a description of a method of direct construction of the BGG sequences of invariant operators on manifolds with AHS structures on the base of representation theoretical data of the Lie algebra defining the AHS structure.

Case Report: Callosal disconnection syndrome manifesting as mixed frontal-callosal-posterior alien hand syndrome following extensive corpus callosum infarct [version 2; peer review: 2 approved]

open access: yesF1000Research
Alien hand syndrome (AHS) is a rare neurological phenomenon first described by Van Vleuten over a century ago. The most widely recognized variants in literature are frontal, callosal, and posterior AHS.

Blood Immunopathology of Tuberculosis Patients Disrupts Monocyte‐Dependent T‐Cell Activation and Cytokine Expression

open access: yesImmunology, Volume 178, Issue 3, Page 494-505, July 2026.
TB serum selectively disrupts monocyte‐dependent PHA T cell activation and cytokines associated with proliferation while preserving SEB T cell and Pam3/PHA monocyte cytokine responses. ABSTRACT Pulmonary tuberculosis in humans is characterised by features of immunopathology, which influence both antimycobacterial therapy and the long‐term prognosis. In

A Hygrothermal Model to Simulate Moisture Conditions in Concrete Reactor Containments with Long-Term Temperature Gradients

open access: yesNordic Concrete Research
Moisture plays a critical role in several degradation mechanisms affecting the structural components of nuclear power plants. It also significantly influences the long-term structural behaviour of reactor containments.

Insights to Orientation Dependence of Molecular Conduction Modeled by High‐Level Quantum Embedding

open access: yesJournal of Computational Chemistry, Volume 47, Issue 17, 30 June 2026.
Quantum‐embedded transport calculations show that conductance histograms sensitively reflect molecular orientation and contact effects in single‐molecule junctions. Advanced embedding schemes improve agreement with experiment, but also expose the critical role of realistic configurational sampling.
