The concept of AI-government: Core concepts for the design of AI-government [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
E-Government is the use of communication and information technology for improving the performance of public sector agencies. AI-Government transcends E-Government by applying AI to assist decision making for all critical public sector functions – notably provision of public services, performance of civic functions, and evaluation of public officials ...

Beyond Visual Scoring: Computational CT‐analysis for HRCT based quantification of Interstitial Lung Disease in Inflammatory Rheumatic Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Interstitial lung disease (IRD‐ILD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disorders (IRD). High‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is widely considered the gold standard for the non‐invasive assessment of ILD; however, its interpretation is constrained by substantial inter‐observer variability and ...

Scaling AI With Adaptive Governance

open access: yesMIT Sloan Management Review
As organizations adopt diverse flavors of AI more widely and scale applications across the enterprise, managing new risks that arise in the development process or during application use becomes increasingly complex. New and adaptive forms of governance must be put in place and systematically embedded across processes so that companies can gain the ...

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Field Report from Collaborative Research Center 1625: Heterogeneous Research Data Management Using Ontology Representations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial
