Aids publicity: pointers to development
Health Education Journal, 1987QUALITATIVE research in Scotland found that, while the mass media had succeeded in giving people basic facts about Aids, there still existed confusion, uncer tainty, and anxiety. Future publicity should address people's concerns about how to tackle Aids in their own lives, and should adopt a practical rather than a fear-inducing approach.
