Iron and cobalt phthalocyanine embedded electrospun carbon nanofiber‐based oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts were prepared in this investigation by combined approach of pyrolysis and acid leaching. The catalyst exhibited the ORR half‐wave potential of 0.71 V vs reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE) in 0.5 M H2SO4 electrolyte solution.
