Characterization of the AIN–W Interface in a Cofired Multilayer AIN Substrate
Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 1989The AIN–W Interfaces in a cofired multilayer AIN substrate were observed using an optical microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). Optical and SEM observations showed an intricate intricatelocking AIN‐W grain structure at the interface. After the W pad was removed from the substrate with a NaOH etchant,

Performance Optimization of AIN Films Using Self-Prepared AIN Target
Key Engineering Materials, 2013Aluminum nitride (AlN) films were prepared by radio frequency (RF) sputtering technique with self-prepared AlN ceramic target. The influence of substrate type and working gas of different N2 concentration to performance of AlN films were discussed.

Comparison of AIN-76A and AIN-93G diets: a 13-week study in rats
Food and Chemical Toxicology, 2001Either purified or cereal-based diets may be used for toxicity testing in rats. Purified diets have advantages in terms of flexibility of formulation to meet specific study objectives and also assurance of relatively low levels of contaminants (e.g. heavy metals and pesticides).

Perspectives on the AIN architecture
IEEE Communications Magazine, 1992The advanced intelligent network (AIN) is examined in terms of its history, present day architecture, and future evolution. The history of the AIN is traced from predivestiture 800 and calling card service capabilities, through IN/1, IN/2, and IN/1+, leading to the various AIN releases.

Aluminum nitride (A1N) has a large band gap (∼6 eV at 300 K), a high thermal conductivity (∼3.2 W cm−1 K1 at 300 K), and large piezoelectric constants (∼∣2−5∣×10−10 cm/V at 300 K) (see Ref. [1]). AIN has also excellent insulator and passivation properties, low dispersion of permittivity, and low dielectric loss. These make it useful for numerous device
