Responses of single cells in the olfactory bulb of rabbits to air flow
Pfl�gers Archiv European Journal of Physiology, 1970Responses to a purified air stream were recorded from single cells in the olfactory bulb of rabbits. A large number of cells responded to ipsilateral stimulation and some cells also to contralateral stimulation. The lowest thresholds of 10–20 cm3 air/min were observed in encephale isole preparations under local anesthesia.
