Air Permeability of Naturally Ventilated Italian Classrooms
AbstractThe study is focused on the evaluation of air permeability and ventilation rate in Italian classrooms. Measurements were performed in 16 naturally ventilated classrooms located in Cassino, Central Italy. Classrooms’ airtightness was evaluated through the fan pressurization method.

Nanosecond pulse laser texturing yields superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic AA2024 surfaces. Salt‐spray tests show that periodic superhydrophobic patterns suppress pitting, whereas superhydrophilic textures enhance it, linking laser‐induced morphology, wettability, and oxide chemistry to corrosion resistance.

Reducing concrete permeability by using natural pozzolans and reduced aggregate-to-pasteratio
Improved durability of concrete is mainly achieved with low-permeability. Permeability depends on permeability of the bulk cement paste (CP) and that of its interfacial transition zone (ITZ).

Relationship between sedimentary features and permeability at different scales in the Brussels Sands [PDF]
The Brussels Sands display a complex three-dimensional subsurface architecture. This sedimentological heterogeneity induces a highly heterogeneous spatial distribution of hydrogeological parameters at different scales and may consequently influence ...

Temperature dependence of core loss in cobalt substituted Ni-Zn-Cu ferrites
The temperature dependence of core loss in cobalt substituted Ni-Zn-Cu ferrites was investigated. Co2+ ions are known to lead to a compensation of the magneto-crystalline anisotropy in Ni-Zn ferrites, at a temperature depending on the cobalt content and ...

An inverse problem of reconstructing the electrical and geometrical parameters characterising airframe structures and connector interfaces [PDF]
This article is concerned with the detection of environmental ageing in adhesively bonded structures used in the aircraft industry. Using a transmission line approach a forward model for the reflection coefficients is constructed and is shown to have an ...

Improvement of air permeability of Bubbfil nanofiber membrane
Nanofiber membranes always have extremely high filter efficiency and remarkably low pressure drop. In order to further improve air permeability of bubbfil nanofiber membranes, the plasma technology is used for surface treatment in this paper. The results

A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.
