Reducing concrete permeability by using natural pozzolans and reduced aggregate-to-pasteratio
Improved durability of concrete is mainly achieved with low-permeability. Permeability depends on permeability of the bulk cement paste (CP) and that of its interfacial transition zone (ITZ).

Controlling counterion exchange rate during aqueous phase separation enables the formation of skin‐free, homogeneously porous polyelectrolyte complex hydrogels by suppressing kinetically trapped skin layers and macrovoids. The resulting hydrogel networks exhibit exceptional toughness (∼15 MJ·m−3) and enable 3D (bio)printing and post‐functionalization ...

Prediction of functional characteristics of interlock and rib knitted fabrics by the use of 3D computational modelling and analysis [PDF]
In this work, a computational model of interlock and rib knitted structures is developed to predict the air permeability and thermal properties of the fabric.

One‐Step Curcumin‐Mediated Multiphoton Lithography for Bioactive 3D Scaffolds
Curcumin‐mediated multiphoton lithography enables one‐step fabrication of highly architected complex gelatin methacryloyl scaffolds by exploiting curcumin as a multifunctional bioactive photoinitiator. The resulting 3D structures support mesenchymal stem cell adhesion, proliferation, and migration, while exhibiting dual antibacterial activity through ...

3D Hydrodynamic Flow Lithography
ABSTRACT Continuous‐ and stop‐flow lithography are widely used to fabricate multi‐dimensional microstructures whose cross‐sectional morphology is dictated by the flow profile of multiple co‐flowing streams. Here, we introduce three‐dimensional hydrodynamic flow lithography (3D HFL), a platform for programmable generation of multi‐layered flow profiles ...

Influence of Shrinkage on Air and Water Vapour Permeability of Double-Layered Weft Knitted Fabrics
Water vapour permeability and transport depends on the properties of the fibre and knitted fabric structure. It was designed double-layered fabrics knitted in plain plating pattern whose inner side was made from synthetic fibres the PES, PA, PP, and ...

Spin Dynamics in the van der Waals Ferromagnet CrTe2 Engineered by Niobium Doping
Spin‐dynamic magnetic properties of van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnet 1T‐CrTe2 are tuned via niobium (Nb) as Cr1‐xNbxTe2 (x = 0–0.2). Nb doping enables wide‐band tuning of the resonance frequency from 40 GHz down to the few‐GHz regime, accompanied by a moderate increase in the Gilbert damping from ∼0.066 to ∼0.14.
