Inventorying Airport Air Pollutant Emissions
Journal of Transportation Engineering, 1988This paper presents a detailed, accurate method for assessing air pollutant emissions from airport operations for the purpose of environmental assessment. Sources may include commercial aircraft, small general aviation aircraft, military aircraft, ground support equipment, stationary sources, fuel storage, fueling operations, and motor vehicles on the ...

Mapping Air Pollution eMissions (MAPM)
2020<p>The growth of megacities from global urbanization has degraded urban air quality sufficient to impede economic growth and create a public health hazard. Emissions of particulate matter, photochemically reactive gases, and long-lived greenhouse gases, contribute to the urban environmental footprint with concomitant economic and

Air Pollutant Emissions from Apartment House Incinerators
Journal of the Air Pollution Control Association, 1972A test program was designed to evaluate the operation and air pollutant emissions of apartment house incinerators. The units tested were equipped with the most recent controls for combustion efficiency and par-ticulate removal and were recommended by local air pollution control officials.

Air Pollution Emissions Projecting
1982This chapter is concerned with alternative emission projection techniques and describes the relationship of emissions projecting to the Air Quality Management System. Based on the experience of several NATO countries, principles are given for applying the projecting techniques to the available emissions inventory data bases and to the other data ...

Emissions of air pollutants from indoor charcoal barbecue
Journal of Hazardous Materials, 2016Ten types of commercial charcoal commonly used in Taiwan were investigated to study the potential health effects of air pollutants generated during charcoal combustion in barbecue restaurants. The charcoal samples were combusted in a tubular high-temperature furnace to simulate the high-temperature charcoal combustion in barbecue restaurants.

Air Pollutant Emissions from Kerosene Space Heaters
Science, 1982Air pollutant emissions from portable convective and radiant kerosene space heaters were measured in an environmental chamber. Emission factors for nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and oxygen depletion are presented. The data suggest that the use of such heaters in residences can result in exposures to air pollutants in

Air Pollution and Industrial Emissions
2018Air pollution regulation was a relative late bloomer on the European Union environmental policy agenda. The main building blocks for EU water and waste policy were laid down in a series of seminal 1970s Directives. By comparison, it took until approximately 1980 for the EU to develop a somewhat cohesive air pollution policy.

Air Pollution Emissions Inventory Systems
1982Many activities within an air quality management system require the use and assessment of various types of air pollution data. Data on air pollutant emissions and air quality are the most important of these data types. An emissions inventory system supports pollution assessment activities by collecting, screening, storing, and presenting emissions data
