Background Pollution's effect on AERMOD Air Quality Modeling [PDF]
Air pollution is the presence of harmful substances in the air at concentrations sufficient to cause adverse effects. This includes solid, liquid, or gaseous pollutants, as well as radioactive and non-radioactive radiation, present at levels and ...

Application of linear minimum variance estimation to the multi-model ensemble of atmospheric radioactive Cs-137 with observations [PDF]
Great efforts have been made to simulate atmospheric pollutants, but their spatial and temporal distributions are still highly uncertain. Observations can measure their concentrations with high accuracy but cannot estimate their spatial distributions due

AIR POLLUTION AND RADIOACTIVITY CIRCULATION PROBLEMS [PDF]
The role of meteorology in the study of large-scale air pollution problems is reviewed. Applications of natural and artificial radioactivity in studies on the atmosphere are described. Weather conditions resulting in area- wide air pollution and activities in progress to study them are discussed.

Simulation of secondary radioactive air pollution in Ukraine due to the wind lift of radionuclides.
The paper presents the results of the simulation of secondary air pollution scenario in Ukraine due to the wind lift of anthropogenic radionuclides during a dust storm in April 2020. A variant of the Bagnold formula was used to parameterize the intensity of radionuclide resuspension.
