In Situ Spectroscopic Control of Gas Adsorption Selectivity Under an Electric Field

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
N2 and CO2 adsorption above an external electrically charged Carbon/SiO2 composite surface is investigated by in situ Raman spectroscopy. An adsorption selectivity increase of CO2 over N2 by 11 and 24% for 0.53 and 1.12W of electrical power applied was achieved.
