Spatiotemporal variations and inequalities in global traffic-sourced PM2.5 exposure
Traffic emission is a major source of ambient fine particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 µm (PM2.5) pollution. However, little is known about the global population exposure to traffic-sourced PM2.5 at high spatiotemporal resolutions.

User-friendly air quality monitoring system
A user-friendly version of the scientific environmental monitoring kit used in Australia during a large air quality (AQ) study was created to enable routine environmental assessment in commercial livestock buildings and thus improve building environments

Future Low-Cost Urban Air Quality Monitoring Networks: Insights from the EU’s AirHeritage Project
The last decade has seen a significant growth in the adoption of low-cost air quality monitoring systems (LCAQMSs), mostly driven by the need to overcome the spatial density limitations of traditional regulatory grade networks. However, urban air quality

Nondestructive Testing of Welded Composite Metal Foams
X‐ray computed tomography (CT) is used to evaluate welded steel–steel composite metal foam (CMF) joints of two density classes. It reports variation in postweld spatial void distribution and correlates it to weld‐induced changes, mechanical performance, and failure within welded CMF panels.

This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...

Sol–gel‐derived ZnO–rGO hybrid nanoparticles enable Al7075 powder‐metallurgy composites to achieve concurrent gains in hardness and thermal conductivity while markedly lowering friction and wear. The hybrid architecture couples ZnO‐based load support with rGO‐assisted lamellar sliding and heat spreading, revealing a promising route toward lightweight ...

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...
