Outlook for advanced concepts in transport aircraft [PDF]
Air transportation demand trends, air transportation system goals, and air transportation system trends well into the 21st century were examined in detail. The outlook is for continued growth in both air passenger travel and air freight movements.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

A Data-Driven Methodology for Developing a Future Design Day Flight Schedule (DDFS)
The design day flight schedule (DDFS) plays a pivotal role in airport simulation and infrastructure planning. Despite its importance, previous studies and global guidelines offer only broad recommendations for DDFS preparation, lacking detailed ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Combating Climate Change in the Capital of Car Culture: Part 1 [PDF]
Say the words "Los Angeles," and you might conjure visions of epic traffic jams, air pollution so thick you can't see the hills, and a city that seems designed to intimidate and marginalize pedestrians and bicyclists. But a new reality is emerging in the ...

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.

Implementation of the mathematical model of interaction of passenger transport modes for sustainable economic development [PDF]
As part of a research, the study of the level of solving the scientific problem of transport flow management in large cities was carried out as a component of the integrated information-intelligent transport system of the city.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.
