Aircraft Wake Vortex Measurement with Coherent Doppler Lidar
Aircraft vortices are generated by the lift-producing surfaces of the aircraft. The variability of near-surface conditions can change the drop rate and cause the cell of the wake vortex to twist and contort unpredictably.

Active Metamaterials with Tunable Shear Nonreciprocity and Nonlinear Dynamics
Active gear‐based mechanical metamaterials enable simultaneous control of translational and torsional stiffnesses by 30–100×, break shear reciprocity under positive versus negative loads, broadly tune resonant frequencies, and offer programmable dynamic responses.

Aircraft Wake Vortex Observations in Hong Kong
The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is among the busiest airports in the world, with total aircraft movement exceeding 400,000 in 2016. The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO), provider of aviation meteorological services to HKIA, has recently begun making the first sets of aircraft wake vortex observations at HKIA using short-range LIDARs.

This study introduces an in situ electrostatic charge‐assisted wetting method to enhance the interfacial strength of aerosol jet printing. By depositing negative charges on the substrate, the technique improves ink wetting and interfacial properties, achieving up to 85.6% higher interfacial shear strength.

This study employs digital advanced manufacturing to develop lightweight, compact porous distributors as alternatives to conventional bipolar plates in PEM fuel cells. A graphene‐coated nickel foam achieves a power density of 1.52 W cm−2, while titanium‐based designs deliver lightweight solutions: an LPBF‐fabricated Gyroid lattice reaches 1.36 W cm−2 ...
