Designing the First Hydroxylamine Substituted Tetrazole With N,O‐Dimethylhydroxylamine

Despite decades of tetrazole chemistry, hydroxylamine‐substituted variants have remained unknown. This work reports the first synthesis of a 5‐hydroxylamine substituted tetrazole via cyanogen azide and N,O‐dimethylhydroxylamine, yielding the free‐base compound and its hydrochloride salt.
