An image‐based runway detection method for fixed‐wing aircraft based on deep neural network
An efficient runway feature extractor is proposed based on deep convolutional neural network, generating segmentation and runway feature lines. A runway dataset is proposed by collecting images from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. A benchmark is designed to quantify the error between predicted feature lines and ground truth ones.
