Turning Electrode Orientation into a Design Parameter: Gravity‐Driven Convection for Coupling Electrochemical and Enzymatic Reactions

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 11, 3 June 2026.
Electrochemically induced density gradients are harnessed to drive gravity‐dependent convection at partially fouled electrodes. By controlling electrode orientation and surface heterogeneity, mass transport is enhanced without external stirring. This enables coupling of electrochemical reactions with enzyme catalysis on insulating domains, exemplified ...

Fabrication of Cerium‐Doped Manganese Oxide Yolk‐Shell Microspheres for Selective Aerobic Oxidation of 5‐Hydroxymethylfurfural to 2,5‐Diformylfuran

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 12, 26 June 2026.
Cerium‐doped manganese oxide (CeMnOx) yolk‐shell microspheres, synthesized via microemulsion‐assisted redox precipitation, enable highly selective aerobic oxidation of biomass‐derived 5‐hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) to 2,5‐diformylfuran (DFF). Optimal Ce/Mn ratio boosts surface oxygen mobility, achieving over 85% DFF yield.

A Suggestion To Solve The Problem Of Asynchronous File Uploads In ASP.NET Without The Need To Use Ajax Technology

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences, 2017
The file upload is one of the controls of the tool bar of the VisualStodio.NET, but it can’t be used with Ajax technology (It's almost impossible today to be involved in web application design or development and not be aware of Ajax) because the file ...

Myeloid HDAC7 drives liver inflammation and systemic glucose dysregulation during diet‐induced obesity

open access: yesClinical &Translational Immunology, Volume 15, Issue 6, 2026.
This study explored the role of the class IIa histone deacetylase HDAC7 in hepatic inflammation and metabolic disease. Genetic approaches in mice revealed that myeloid HDAC7 drives hepatic inflammation and gene signatures associated with advanced chronic liver disease.

Remembering the Stages, Forgetting the Person: Who Really Was Graham Wallas?

open access: yesThe Journal of Creative Behavior, Volume 60, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT One hundred years after the publication of The Art of Thought (1926), Graham Wallas remains widely cited yet poorly understood. His stages of preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification continue to circulate as a foundational model of creativity, even as the life that gave rise to them has largely faded from view.

Solar Energetic Particle Forecasting With Multi‐Task Deep Learning: SEPNET

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Solar energetic particle (SEP) events pose severe threats to spacecraft, astronaut safety, and aviation operations. Accurate SEP forecasting remains a critical challenge in space weather research as a result of their complex origins and highly variable propagation.

From Everyman to Hamlet: A Distant Reading

open access: yesRenaissance Studies, Volume 40, Issue 3, Page 378-443, June 2026.
Abstract The sixteenth century sees English drama move from Everyman to Hamlet: from religious to secular subject matter and from personified abstractions to characters bearing proper names. Most modern scholarship has explained this transformation in terms originating in the work of Jacob Burckhardt: concern with religion and a taste for ...
