TAXON, Volume 75, Issue 2, April 2026.Abstract In its current circumscription, Rubiaceae subfam. Rubioideae tribe Rubieae consists of 18 genera, i.e., Asperula, Callipeltis, Castrila, Crucianella, Cruciata, Cynanchica, Didymaea, Galium, Hexaphylla, Kelloggia, Mericarpaea, Microphysa, Phuopsis, Pseudogalium, Rubia, Sherardia, Thliphthisa and Valantia.
