Mercury in subsurface and mine waters at Aktash ore deposit

open access: closedInternational Geology Review, 1971
In a weakly mineralized, weakly alkaline aqueous halo of mercury ores, Hg migrates mainly as a hydroxide and also as complexes from which it cannot be precipitated by H2S. This latter form of “bound mercury” may broaden the halo and dissipate the metal over long distances.

Aktashite Cu6Hg3As4S12 from the Aktash deposit, Altai, Russia: Refinement and crystal chemical analysis of the structure

open access: closedGeology of Ore Deposits, 2010
The composition and structure of aktashite from the Aktash deposit, Gorny Altai, Russia, have been studied by electron microprobe and X-ray structural analysis. On the basis of close compositions and crystal structures, the identity of aktashite from the Gal-Khaya and Aktash deposits has been demonstrated. Crystals of aktashite are of trigonal symmetry;

Geochemical Features of Sulfides of the Aktash Magnetite–Polymetallic Deposit, Western Karamazar, Tajikistan (LA-ICP-MS Data)

open access: closedGeology of Ore Deposits, 2023
The distribution of trace elements in sulfdes from various ores of the Aktash magnetite-polymetallic deposit (Tajikistan) is studied using LA-ICP-MS method. Sulfdes partly replace banded magnetite ores. Each sulfde type exhibits specifc geochemical features.
