New Hydrocracking Catalysts Based on Mesoporous Al-MCM-41 Materials
Chemical Engineering & Technology, 2002Mesoporous Al-MCM-41 materials are interesting in terms of their use as active supports for hydrocracking catalysts and as component in cracking catalysts. Al-MCM-41/ZSM-5 mixed phases were prepared by a novel simultaneous synthesis and characterized. The catalytic properties of NiMo-modified Al-MCM-41-based samples and of a representative industrial ...

Visible-light photooxidation of trichloroethylene by Cr–Al-MCM-41
Journal of Catalysis, 2005Abstract In the present study, the photooxidation of gaseous trichloroethylene (TCE) was performed on Cr–Al-MCM-41 (predominantly a SiO 2 framework) under visible light and UV light. This mesoporous Cr-containing MCM-41 material is a promising photocatalyst and exhibits excellent photoactivity.

Synthesis of highly regular mesoporous Al-MCM-41 from metakaolin
Applied Clay Science, 2009Abstract Mesoporous molecular sieve Al-MCM-41 with Si/Al ratio = 5, was in situ synthesized under hydrothermal condition using tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) and metakaolin as silica and aluminum sources and cetyl trimethylammonium bromide as structure directing agent.

Uniformity and Ordering of Inner Walls of (Al)MCM-41
Collection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications, 2001The uniformity and ordering of the surface of (Al)MCM-41 channel walls was investigated employing bare Co(II) ions as probes. VIS spectra of Co(II) ions evidenced the presence of two types of uniform cationic sites in dehydrated Co-(Al)MCM-41 in a wide range of Si/Al/Co chemical composition (Si/Al = 11-76, Co/Al = 0.08-0.44).

EPR studies of carbonaceous compounds deposited on Al-MCM-41
Applied Surface Science, 2002Abstract Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy was used to investigate carbonaceous compounds deposited on aluminosilicate mesoporous molecular sieves of the MCM-41 type during conversion of cyclohexene at various temperatures. The amount of the deposited coke grew with the increasing Al content of the catalysts and with the decreasing ...

Catalytic Pyrolysis of Municipal Plastic Film Wastes Over Nanoporous Al-MCM-41
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2018A mesoporous material, Al-MCM-41, was applied to the catalytic pyrolysis of municipal plastic film waste (MPFW) to produce large amounts of valuable hydrocarbons. Compared to non-catalytic pyrolysis, the catalytic pyrolysis of MPFW over Al-MCM-41 revealed a lower decomposition temperature and activation energy upon thermogravimetric analysis.

Catalytic Hydrodeoxygenation of Cork Oak Pyrolysis Oil Over Ni/Al-MCM-41
Journal of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, 2019Catalytic hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of cork oak pyrolysis oil was performed using a high pressure batch type reactor. Cork oak pyrolysis oil, obtained from the fast pyrolysis of cork oak, was upgraded into high quality oil under HDO conditions (260 °C, 80 bar) over 20 wt.% Ni/Al-MCM-41.
