This study examines al-amtsal (parables) as a teaching method employed by Prophet Muhammad saw, focusing on the abwab al-amthal in Jami’ al-Tirmidhi. Using a qualitative literature-based approach from primary and secondary sources, the research identifies patterns of al-amtsal in hadiths and evaluates their relevance for contemporary Islamic education.
