In-Situ Reaction Depposition Coating of LaPO4 on Al2O3 Fabric Cloth for Al2O3/Al2O3 Composites

2008
In-situ reaction deposition, a liquid-phase coating method, was applied to coat monazite (LaPO 4 ) on alumina fabric cloth for improving the uniformity of coating. Coating was characterized for thickness, microstructure and composition by SEM, XRD and EDS. Stability of the coating was estimated by heat exposure at 1200 °C for 48 h in air.

XPS Studies of characterized Cu/Al2O3, Zn/Al2O3 and Cu-Zn/Al2O3, catalysts

1991
By XPS it is confirmed that copper-containing catalysts supported on alumina and calcined at high temperature (673-873 K for 24 h), with or without zinc addition, have a 'surface spinel' structure. Combining the XPS results with previous results obtained by Vis-UV reflectance spectroscopy and XRD we show that the limit of solubility of Zn and Cu ions ...

XPS studies of characterized Cu/Al2O3, Zn/Al2O3 and Cu-Zn/Al2O3 catalysts-reply

1992
A reply to some comments by B. R. Strohmeier about my previous contribution on "XPS studies of characterized Cu/Al2O3, Zn/Al2O3 and Cu-Zn/Al2O3 catalysts" is presented claryfing all the points under discussion.
