The paper presents the results of a spectroscopic study of the "colored" water detected in the splash baths in the supralittoral zone of the Alaid Volcano (the Kuril Islands) from 2015 to 2019. The splash baths with magenta, red and red-yellow water located in different parts of the island in various summer seasons.

We have found out the general patterns in the elemental composition of ash ejected by the Kuril volcanoes Alaid and Ebeko. The ashes show persistent exceedances in the concentrations of K, Bi, U, Cs, Th, Na, and Yb relative to the mean concentrations for the respective types of volcanic rock.

Ore Elements and Minerals in The Elements of Alaid Volcano (Kuril Island Arc)
Вулканология и сейсмологияSublimates tested in 2013–2020 were studied. in the near-crater zone and on the slopes of the Alaid volcano, located in the Kuril Island arc. It has been established that in the near-crater zone there are native metals confined to zones of acid leaching, within which the original lavas and tuffs have been transformed into opal-like formations or rocks ...
