The Geochemistry and Potential Fertility of Volcanic Ash Discharged by Alaid and Ebeko Volcanoes, Kuril Islands

Journal of Volcanology and Seismology, 2021
We have found out the general patterns in the elemental composition of ash ejected by the Kuril volcanoes Alaid and Ebeko. The ashes show persistent exceedances in the concentrations of K, Bi, U, Cs, Th, Na, and Yb relative to the mean concentrations for the respective types of volcanic rock.

Ore Elements and Minerals in The Elements of Alaid Volcano (Kuril Island Arc)

Вулканология и сейсмология
Sublimates tested in 2013–2020 were studied. in the near-crater zone and on the slopes of the Alaid volcano, located in the Kuril Island arc. It has been established that in the near-crater zone there are native metals confined to zones of acid leaching, within which the original lavas and tuffs have been transformed into opal-like formations or rocks ...

Volcano: Mitigating Multimodal Hallucination through Self-Feedback Guided Revision

North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics, 2023
Large multimodal models suffer from multimodal hallucination, where they provide incorrect responses misaligned with the given visual information. Recent works have conjectured that one of the reasons behind multimodal hallucination is due to the vision ...

Detection and Classification of Continuous Volcano-Seismic Signals With Recurrent Neural Networks

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2019
This paper introduces recurrent neural networks (RNN), long short-term memory (LSTM), and gated recurrent unit (GRU) to detect and classify continuous sequences of volcano-seismic events at the Deception Island Volcano, Antarctica.
