Comparative Meta‐Analysis of Antimicrobial Peptides in Aquatic and Terrestrial Livestock Species

A global meta‐analysis of 58 studies (926 effect sizes and 29 species across five taxa) revealed that dietary antimicrobial peptides generally improve growth performance, blood metabolites, and immune responses. Objective Ear, nose and throat (ENT) manifestations are common in ANCA‐associated vasculitis (AAV). There is unmet need for drugs to target these manifestations. Granuloma formation is characteristic of proteinase 3 (PR3)‐AAV. In a zebrafish model, niclosamide inhibits PR3‐induced granuloma formation.
