On the Road in Alaska

It was a beautiful blue-sky, fluffycloud morning when I drove the seven miles into town this morning. From the ridge I could see the craggy snow-covered peaks of the Alaska Range 200 miles to the south. On the way to my office at the state building, I crossed one of the three bridges over the Chena River, which meanders through the city.
