Improving the Capacity Retention of Poly(vinylphenothiazine) as Battery Electrode Material by Pore Size Engineering of Porous N‐Doped Carbon Nanospheres as Conductive Additive

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By using (meso)porous N‐doped carbon nanospheres with tailored intraparticle porosity and constant particle size as conductive carbon in PVMPT‐based organic battery electrodes, the complete volume of the carbon is accessible for the immobilization of PVMPT, resulting in high accessible specific capacities while maintaining a good rate capability and ...

Chasing Charge Carriers: Diffusion Dynamics in Mixed‐n Quasi‐2D Colloidal MAPbBr3 Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal halide perovskites are noted for their tunable optical properties. Colloidal synthesis allows the formation of differently shaped perovskite nanocrystals with varying optical and carrier transport behavior. Three MAPbBr3 morphologies are characterized: nanoplatelets, nanosheets, and nanostripes.

Photoactivation of NV Centers in Diamond via Continuous Wave Laser Illumination of Shallow As‐Implanted Nitrogen

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates an alternative method of creating charge‐stable negatively charged nitrogen vacancy (NV−) centers close to the diamond surface without high‐temperature annealing. By illuminating nitrogen‐implanted regions with a continuous‐wave 405 nm laser, NV− centers are induced, exhibiting electron spin coherence properties suitable for ...

Invited papers from the international meeting on 'New Frontiers in Numerical Relativity' (Albert Einstein Institute, Potsdam, Germany, 17-21 July 2006) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Traditionally, frontiers represent a treacherous terrain to venture into, where hidden obstacles are present and uncharted territories lie ahead. At the same time, frontiers are also a place where new perspectives can be appreciated and have often been ...

Unravelling the Atomic Structure of a Metal‐Covalent Organic Framework Assembled from Ruthenium Metalloligands

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
Metal‐covalent organic frameworks (MCOFs) are novel porous materials that exhibit the advantages of covalent and metal‐organic frameworks. However, it is extremely difficult to resolve their atomic structure and better understand their structure‐properties relation. This work utilizes a synergistic combination of advanced microscopy, spectroscopic, and

INIQUIDADES NA VACINAÇÃO E TAXA DE MORTALIDADE EM POPULAÇÕES INDÍGENAS COMPARADAS COM A POPULAÇÃO GERAL NO BRASIL: UMA ANÁLISE DE SÉRIE TEMPORAL

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Infectious Diseases, 2022
Introdução: Desde a implementação da vacinação contra COVID-19 no Brasil, os povos indígenas foram considerados grupo prioritário; entretanto, essas populações enfrentam diversas iniquidades no acesso à saúde, resultando em maior risco de desfechos ...
