We engineered thermo‐alkali‐stable D‐hydantoinases via mutagenesis (M63A/F65H/C317T) to resolve Pregabalin's challenging chiral splitting, achieving ee value > 97% for key intermediate (R)‐3‐isobutylglutaric acid monoamide (R‐IBM) synthesis under extreme conditions (pH 10, 70°C–80°C).

Dense autotrophic cultures of Alcaligenes eutrophus [PDF]
Alcaligenes eutrophus was grown autotrophically in 23-liter batch cultures in a controlled H2-O2-CO2 atmosphere. It was demonstrated that the need for periodic supplements of individual nutrients could be anticipated before cell growth depleted these nutrients to the point of becoming growth rate limiting.

Exposures in Indoor Air Affecting Health
ABSTRACT Indoor air quality (IAQ) is influenced by a wide range of chemical, biological and physical agents that can negatively impact physical, immunological and mental health. Adverse health effects depend on the type and concentration of pollutants, duration of exposure, and individual susceptibility.

Unveiling Global Diversity of Patescibacteriota and Functional Interactions with Host Microbes
Patescibacteriota represents a diverse group of ultra‐small epibiotic bacteria, which is largely overlooked. By integrating ribosomal protein S3‐based community profiling with MAG‐based metabolic potential analyses, this study provides new insights into their distribution, diversity, and potential interactions with other bacteria across diverse ...

In this study, adsorption of 2,4-D a common used herbicide in our region on Na-Montmorillonite (MM), Ca-MM and MM and biodegradation by two Alcaligenes species isolated from soil were studied. 2,4-D, was successfully absorbed on Na-MM, Ca-MM and MM. 2,4-D desorption from Na-MM in the first 72 hours was determined by liquid-liquid exraction. For Ca-MM 2,

This study analyzed the clinical data of 52 patients with moderate‐to‐severe bronchiectasis who were admitted to our hospital. It explored the diagnostic value of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) metagenomic next‐generation sequencing (mNGS) in identifying infectious pathogens in patients with moderate‐to‐severe bronchiectasis, and clarified the ...

Study on the biodegradation of crude oil by free and immobilized bacterial consortium in marine environment. [PDF]
Five strains of bacteria, namely, Exiguobacterium sp. ASW-1, Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain ASW-2, Alcaligenes sp. ASW-3, Alcaligenes sp. ASS-1, and Bacillus sp. ASS-2, were isolated from the Zhejiang coast in China.

Inflammation and Cancer: Molecular Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets
Chronic inflammation fuels tumorigenesis via “internal drivers” and “external attractions.” Targeting these core mechanisms with combined therapies/novel deliveries enables precise, potent anti‐inflammatory–antitumor treatment. ABSTRACT Inflammation is a core pathological factor regulating tumor initiation, progression, and therapeutic resistance, and ...

Frass derived from black soldier fly larvae reared on various industrial side streams was investigated in both untreated and hygienised (1 h at 70°C) condition. Hygienisation efficacy was evaluated by determination of viable microbial counts, using both selective and non‐selective cultivation media.
