Population pharmacokinetic modelling of amoxicillin in human breast milk—A contribution from the ConcePTION project

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 92, Issue 6, Page 1833-1844, June 2026.
Aims Amoxicillin, a widely used β‐lactam antibiotic, requires improved pharmacokinetic characterization during breastfeeding. This study used a population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) approach to model amoxicillin concentrations in breast milk, identify variability sources and estimate infant exposure, applying worst‐case scenarios.

Genome‐Wide In Silico Analysis of the Type VI Secretion System (T6SS) Within the Morganella Genus

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 15, Issue 3, June 2026.
▪ Species‐specific T6SS patterns among Morganella genus (M. morganii and M. sibonii). ▪ Only one‐third of M. morganii isolates haboured a T6SS. ▪ All M. sibonii possess four T6SS clusters. ▪ M. sibonii exhibited a wide diversity of effectors compared to M. morganii.

EIGENSINN AND DOMINATION IN LIBERAL AND ILLIBERAL SOCIETIES

open access: yesHistory and Theory, Volume 65, Issue 1, Page 32-57, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This article is a posthumously published text that was written by Alf Lüdtke and Alexandra Oeser but was left unfinished when Lüdtke died in February 2019. It examines two central notions—and their articulations—that Lüdtke and Oeser use differently in their work: domination and Eigensinn. On domination, it focuses on perspectives of Max Weber'

Development and Psychometric Testing of the Breastfeeding Knowledge Scale (BKS) in Brazilian Healthcare Students

open access: yesJournal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice, Volume 32, Issue 2, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Rationale Breastfeeding is recognized as a cornerstone of maternal and child health, yet health professionals frequently report insufficient knowledge to provide effective support. Strengthening the evaluation of educational outcomes in health professions training is therefore essential to improve clinical practice and patient care. This study

Influence du débourbage des moûts et du sulfitage sur les teneurs en substances volatiles des vins et des eaux-de-vie. 1. Etude des vins

open access: yesOENO One, 1978
Dans ce travail, on étudie l'influence du débourbage d'un moût d'Ugni Blanc sur la composition chimique des vins et en particulier sur les substances volatiles, dosées par chromatographie en phase gazeuse.

Intra‐ and Intermolecular Glycosylation of d‐Idopyranosyl and 6‐Deoxy‐d‐ido‐heptopyranosyl Donors: Toward the Repeating Unit of Campylobacter jejuni HS:4c Capsular Polysaccharide

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 4, January 26, 2026.
A comprehensive glycosylation study of diversely protected and activated d‐idopyranosyl and 6‐deoxy‐d‐ido‐heptopyranosyl donors using intra‐ and intermolecular coupling strategies is reported. Intramolecular aglycon delivery afforded 1,2‐cis‐β‐idopyranosides, while intermolecular glycosylation yielded chromatographically separable α‐ and β‐linked ...

Etude de l'influence de la pourriture grise des raisins (Botrytis cinerea) sur la composition chimique et la qualité des vins

open access: yesOENO One, 1976
Dans le cadre de la recherche de l'influence du taux de pourriture des raisins sur la composition chimique des vins on a effectué, dans six vins rouges et quatre vins blancs, le dosage des polyols et des substances volatiles par chromatographie en phase ...

Historical anthropogenic stressors affect bird ecology and feather development in neotropical forests

open access: yesOikos, Volume 2025, Issue 10, October 2025.
Fragmentation and habitat loss driven by agricultural expansion have significantly affected bird ecology. Additionally, the growing use of agrochemicals impacts ecosystems and avian communities. Tools such as isotopic analysis provide reliable proxies for assessing organisms' habitat use and diet, and can also reflect environmental alterations, such as

Brain Connectivity of the Cingulate Cortex in Alcohol Use Disorder: Exploring Its Association With Mindfulness

open access: yesAddiction Biology, Volume 30, Issue 10, October 2025.
This study found that patients with alcohol use disorder (AUD) showed reduced structural and functional connectivity in the cingulum bundle (CB), a brain tract linking key networks for self‐regulation. While overall mindfulness was not directly associated with CB connectivity, specific mindfulness components (‘acceptance’ and ‘decentring’) and ...
