POTENSIAL NITRIFIKASI DAN EFISIENSI PENYEDIAAN NITROGEN PADA PERTANAMAN JAGUNG (Zea mays) DI TANAH ALFISOL DENGAN PENAMBAHAN SERESAH PANGKASAN GAMAL (Gliricidia maculata), DAN JAMBU METE (Anacardium occidentale) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Nitrifikasi merupakan proses perubahan amonium (NH4 + ) menjadi nitrat (NO3 - ). Perubahan ini dapat merugikan apabila laju nitrifikasi terlalu tinggi.

Depth‐Dependence Changes in Soil Stoichiometry in China's Croplands Over the Past Four Decades

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 47, December 18, 2025.
This study reveals depth‐dependent changes in soil C:N:P ratios across Chinese croplands over four decades. Changes in stoichiometry vary markedly between topsoil and subsoil, with initial soil C:N:P ratios playing a key role in determining their trajectories.

Defining soil‐health targets for root‐zone enrichment of soil organic carbon, nitrogen, and soil‐test biological activity in the southeastern United States

open access: yesAgricultural &Environmental Letters, Volume 10, Issue 2, December 2025.
Abstract Quantifying soil organic carbon (SOC) and total soil nitrogen (TSN) at a cumulative depth of 0–30 cm under different land use and management scenarios remains a priority, particularly in the southeastern United States, where soil erosion can be intense with high rainfall and long history of intensive soil disturbance.

Effect of calcium and boron on biomass yield and nutrients uptake by tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2020
A pot experiment was conducted in acid soil (Alfisol) using four levels of lime (CaCO3) based on lime requirement (LR), viz. 0, 1/3, 2/3, and 1 and four levels of boron (B), viz.

A random forest model for predicting soil properties using Landsat 9 bare soil images

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 8, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract Digital soil mapping (DSM) provides a low‐cost approach for characterizing the spatial variation in soil properties, which contributes to inconsistent productivity. This study utilized random forest (RF) models to facilitate the DSM of apparent soil electrical conductivity (ECa), cation exchange capacity (CEC), and soil organic matter (SOM) in

Land use and soil characteristics are associated with increased risk of treponeme‐associated hoof disease in elk

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 16, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract Environments can shape the occurrence and extent of disease outbreaks in wildlife. We studied the effects of environmental features on the occurrence of treponeme‐associated hoof disease (TAHD), an emerging infectious disease of free‐ranging elk (Cervus canadensis), in southwestern Washington, USA.

Fertilización fosfatada y fracciones de fósforo en alfisoles, ultisoles y oxisoles Phosphorus fertilization and phosphorus fractions in alfisols, ultisols and oxisols
