Advanced Sensor Research, Volume 4, Issue 8, August 2025.The illustration showcases resonant optical microsensors for Doxorubicin (DXR) detection, using polystyrene sulfonate (PSS) as a synthetic receptor. PSS is deposited as a nanometer‐thick layer on fluorescent microparticles via layer‐by‐layer assembly. DXR‐PSS interaction is depicted, highlighting its effect on the sensor's resonant modes.
