The alternating central extension for the positive part of Uq(slˆ2)
This paper is about the positive part Uq+ of the quantum group Uq(slˆ2). The algebra Uq+ has a presentation with two generators A,B that satisfy the cubic q-Serre relations. Recently we introduced a type of element in Uq+, said to be alternating.

Solvability of invariant systems of differential equations on H2$\mathbb {H}^2$ and beyond
Abstract We show how the Fourier transform for distributional sections of vector bundles over symmetric spaces of non‐compact type G/K$G/K$ can be used for questions of solvability of systems of invariant differential equations in analogy to Hörmander's proof of the Ehrenpreis–Malgrange theorem.

A tropical approach to rigidity: Counting realisations of frameworks
Abstract A realisation of a graph in the plane as a bar‐joint framework is rigid if there are finitely many other realisations, up to isometries, with the same edge lengths. Each of these finitely many realisations can be seen as a solution to a system of quadratic equations prescribing the distances between pairs of points.

Abstract Twistor spaces are certain compact complex three‐folds with an additional real fibre bundle structure. We focus here on twistor spaces over P2#P2#P2${\mathbb {P}}^2\#{\mathbb {P}}^2\#{\mathbb {P}}^2$. Such spaces are either small resolutions of double solids or they can be described as modifications of conic bundles.

Jordan homomorphisms and T‐ideals
Abstract Let A$A$ and B$B$ be associative algebras over a field F$F$ with char(F)≠2${\rm char}(F)\ne 2$. Our first main result states that if A$A$ is unital and equal to its commutator ideal, then every Jordan epimorphism φ:A→B$\varphi:A\rightarrow B$ is the sum of a homomorphism and an antihomomorphism. Our second main result concerns (not necessarily

Homomorphism-homogeneous monounary algebras
Abstract In 2006, P. J. Cameron and J. Nešetřil introduced the following variant of homogeneity: we say that a structure is homomorphism-homogeneous if every homomorphism between finitely generated substructures of the structure extends to an endomorphism of the structure. In several recent papers homomorphism-homogeneous objects in some

The cosymplectic Chern–Hamilton conjecture
Abstract In this paper, we study the Chern–Hamilton energy functional on compact cosymplectic manifolds, fully classifying in dimension 3 those manifolds admitting a critical compatible metric for this functional. This is the case if and only if either the manifold is co‐Kähler or if it is a mapping torus of the 2‐torus by a hyperbolic toral ...

(1/2,1/2)-Fuzzy QS–ideals and its correlation coefficients [PDF]
As an extension of intuitionistic fuzzy sets, we introduce the notion of -fuzzy set ( denoted by SSR) of QS -ideals on a OS -algebra and investigate its properties.

Judgment aggregators and Boolean algebra homomorphisms [PDF]
The theory of Boolean algebras can be fruitfully applied to judgment aggregation: Assuming universality, systematicity and a sufficiently rich agenda, there is a correspondence between (i) non-trivial deductively closed judgment aggregators and (ii ...
