Representable cylindric algebras
This article is a continuation of an earlier one by the same authors [Lect. Notes Math. 883, 1-129 (1981; Zbl 0497.03025)]. It contains various sufficient conditions for representability of cylindric algebras; also three methods for constructing non-representable algebras are described.

Demonstration of an All‐Optical AND Gate Mediated by Photochromic Molecules
A logic AND gate that runs on photons is demonstrated. It relies on two spatially separated photochromic molecules that work in tandem. Abstract The realization of a photonic logic AND gate, i.e. a logic AND gate that runs on photons rather than electrons, and where all steps are controlled by light, is demonstrated. In a proof‐of‐principle experiment,

This work utilizes poly(heptazine imides) as a model system to demonstrate how fine‐tuning the crystal structure influences the photocatalytic properties of layered carbon nitrides in the hydrogen evolution reaction. In particular, the nature of rotational defects and the hydration shell of cations are key contributors to enhanced hydrogen evolution ...

Interaction of non-Abelian tensor gauge fields
The non-Abelian tensor gauge fields take value in extended Poincaré algebra. In order to define the invariant Lagrangian we introduce a vector variable in two alternative ways: through the transversal representation of the extended Poincaré algebra and ...

Adelic analysis and functional analysis on the finite Adele ring [PDF]
In this paper, we study operator theory on the \(*\)-algebra \(\mathcal{M}_{\mathcal{P}}\), consisting of all measurable functions on the finite Adele ring \(A_{\mathbb{Q}}\), in extended free-probabilistic sense. Even though our \(*\)-algebra \(\mathcal{

Temperley-Lieb Words as Valence-Bond Ground States
Based on the Temperley--Lieb algebra we define a class of one-dimensional Hamiltonians with nearest and next-nearest neighbour interactions. Using the regular representation we give ground states of this model as words of the algebra.

Spatiotemporally Resolved Orbital Hall Effect in a Topological Semimetal
Real‐space mapping of orbital angular momentum (OAM) transport is achieved using contact‐free polarimetric terahertz spectroscopy. This principle is applied to the topological semimetal Td‐WTe2, revealing the spatial separation of electrons into two distinct regions characterized by opposite out‐of‐plane OAM (±Lz).

We introduce two classes of novel color superalgebras of $ \mathbb{Z}_2 \times \mathbb{Z}_2 $ grading. This is done by realizing members of each in the universal enveloping algebra of the ${\cal N}=1$ supersymmetric extension of the conformal Galilei ...

Manipulating Individual Topological Solitons and Bisolitons in an Electronic System
While localized topological modes in quantum materials promise loss‐less delivery of classical and quantum information, manipulating them individually has been challenging. This work succeeded in manipulating topological solitons formed along atomic wires on silicon surfaces with high reproducibility in various ways, including translating, transforming

Unordered Tuples in Quantum Computation [PDF]
It is well known that the C*-algebra of an ordered pair of qubits is M_2 (x) M_2. What about unordered pairs? We show in detail that M_3 (+) C is the C*-algebra of an unordered pair of qubits. Then we use Schur-Weyl duality to characterize the C*-algebra
