A basis for the symplectic group branching algebra [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Combinatorics, 2011
The symplectic group branching algebra, B, is a graded algebra whose components encode the multiplicities of irreducible representations of Sp(2n-2,C) in each irreducible representation of Sp(2n,C). By describing on B an ASL structure, we construct an explicit standard monomial basis of B consisting of Sp(2n-2,C) highest weight vectors.

Matroid relaxations and Kazhdan-Lusztig non-degeneracy

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper we study the interplay between the operation of circuit-hyperplane relaxation and the Kazhdan--Lusztig theory of matroids. We obtain a family of polynomials, not depending on the matroids but only on their ranks, that relate the Kazhdan ...

Relative integral basis for algebraic number fields

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1986
At first conditions are given for existence of a relative integral basis for OK≅Okn−1⊕I with [K;k]=n. Then the constrtiction of the ideal I in OK≅Okn−1⊕I is given for proof of existence of a relative integral basis for OK4(m1,m2)/Ok(m3).

Representation of spectra of algebras of block-symmetric analytic functions of bounded type

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2016
The paper contains a description of symmetric convolution of the algebra of block-symmetric analytic functions of bounded type on $\ell_{1}$-sum of the space $\mathbb{C}^{2}.$ We show that the specrum of such algebra does not coincide of point evaluation

Symbolic Analysis for Boundary Problems: From Rewriting to Parametrized Groebner Bases [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We review our algebraic framework for linear boundary problems (concentrating on ordinary differential equations). Its starting point is an appropriate algebraization of the domain of functions, which we have named integro-differential algebras.

Pseudo General Overlap Functions and Weak Inflationary Pseudo BL-Algebras

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
General overlap functions are generalized on the basis of overlap functions, which have better application effects in classification problems, and the (weak) inflationary BL-algebras as the related algebraic structure were also studied.

Algebraic solution for the classical harmonic oscillator

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Ensino de Física, 2023
The harmonic oscillator is one of the most studied systems in Physics with a myriad of applications. One of the first problems solved in a Quantum Mechanics course is calculating the energy spectrum of the simple harmonic oscillator with analytic and ...

Continuity of Functional Transducers: A Profinite Study of Rational Functions [PDF]

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science, 2020
A word-to-word function is continuous for a class of languages~$\mathcal{V}$ if its inverse maps $\mathcal{V}$_languages to~$\mathcal{V}$. This notion provides a basis for an algebraic study of transducers, and was integral to the characterization of the

On algebraic bases of algebras of block-symmetric polynomials on Banach spaces [PDF]

open access: yesМатематичні Студії, 2012

THE POSITION OF STUDENTS' ERRORS IN ALGEBRAIC PROBLEM-SOLVING BASED ON FIELD DEPENDENT AND INDEPENDENT

open access: yesKalamatika, 2021
There is a strong relationship between field-dependent (FD), field-independent (FI) cognitive styles, and problem-solving performance. FD students are more oriented towards the outside world, while FI students rely more on their knowledge and experience.
